Research

Create a research page in your PP sketchbook about Documentary Style/Street photography.

Use the Pinterest boards below to find images and artists.

Research 2 photographers and create 2 more pages with images and annotation about the artists, why they create their work, what you think about it and how you can use their ideas to inspire your own work
WEEK TWO
Respond:

Respond to your research by taking photographs on your phone, tablet or camera. Photoshoots should be between 30-60 images.

Present these photographs in your PP sketchbook.

Choose 4 of your best images and present these larger over another 2 pages.

Analyse these images by describing what they are of and why you have taken them. Explain why they link to your artists research and how successful you have been.
WEEKS THREE AND FOUR
Experiment:

Use the photographs you have already taken and experiment with them.

Have fun and aim for 6-10 different experimental images. Save them to your camera role and email them to yourself to them present in your sketchbook.

WEEKS FIVE AND SIX
PRESENT a Zine:

Choose 8 of your best images to present in your Zine, they can be a combination of your original photos from your photoshoots and your experimental images.

Remember you are telling a story about your experiences in the last 6 weeks.

Create a research page in your PP sketchbook about ZINES. What are they and why are they made? Find and present examples that you like and describe why you like them. Use the pinterest board to help you alongside your own research.
